There is a need for more women leaders in energy. This course is geared toward women of all stages and ages in the energy industry. Our mission is to help you gain clarity about yourself and your skillset, obtain insight from various resources to hone those skills and out them to good use, and Elevate Your Leadership in the Energy Industry.

The energy industry is undergoing a transformative shift, yet women remain significantly underrepresented in leadership roles.

Despite women making up 39% of the global labor force, they account for only 16% of the energy sector workforce. In senior management, women hold just 13.9% of positions, with higher representation in utilities (17.1%) compared to other energy sub-sectors like renewable energy and oil and gas, where it drops to around 12% (IEA) (Women in Energy).
